Come and join us for our Brecon Beacon’s Hiking Weekend of relaxed walking in a small sociable group, sharing the adventure, making new friends.
Situated in south Wales, The Brecon Beacons National Park is loved for its big green open spaces which offer miles and miles of wonderful walking.
It covers 519 square miles and consists of three mountain ranges, the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons and the Fforest Fawr uplands.
We arrive on Friday evening to be greeted by our Host, settle in and enjoy a lovely freshly prepared meal whilst getting to know each other. A little music, fun and games whilst sat around a real fire … but don’t get carried away, we’re up early and out for a full days hiking, tackling Pen Y Fan, the tallest mountain in South Wales, standing at 870m.
After our first day of hiking, we return to our bunkhouse late afternoon to reflect on a brilliant day’s trekking whilst being treated to another exceptional freshly prepared home cooked meal, followed by a great night of socialising!
After breakfast, Sunday sees us taking on another fantastic, but shorter local walk. We visit a number of beautiful waterfalls on this gentle but exhilarating walk.
A unique and memorable experience not to be missed …
