Come and join us on our Lake District Hiking Weekend of relaxed walking in a small sociable group, sharing the adventure, making new friends and enjoying the authentic Mountain Bunkhouse experience.

Situated in the North West of England, The Lake District National Park was established in 1951 and covers an area of 912 square miles.

The most beautiful mountainous area of England, famous for picture perfect lakes and forests, as well as it’s many well known fells and its associations with William Wordsworth and other Lake Poets and also with Beatrix Potter and John Ruskin.

We arrive on Friday evening to be greeted by our Host, settle in and enjoy a lovely freshly prepared meal whilst getting to know each other. A little music, fun and games whilst sat around a real fire … but don’t get carried away, we’re up early and out for a full days hiking, taking in spectacular scenery, in and around the outstanding national park.

We are taking on 7 Wainwrights on this fantastic circular route, starting in the Langdale Valley. As we climb we pass the famous Dungeon Ghyll on our way to our first peak, Loft Crag, which is one of the Langdale Pikes.

We continue to our main destination of High Raise, to take in fantastic views of Langdale valley, the dramatic setting of Stickle Tarn far below and the gully riven cliff of Pavey Ark.

We then start our descent to Blea Rigg before making our way to Stickle tarn, where we follow the overspill back down the valley to end an absolutely amazing day!

We return to our bunkhouse late afternoon to reflect on a brilliant day of trekking whilst being treated to another fantastic freshly prepared meal, followed by a great night of socialising!

After breakfast, those who fancy another adventure will be treated to a short walk to a spectacular ‘secret’ waterfall in this beautiful national park.

A unique and memorable experience not to be missed …
