Kinder Scout, considered by many as the spiritual home of walking, is the highest point in the Peak District and is  synonymous with the Kinder mass organised trespass and the start of the access movement.

In 1932 around 500 walkers,  trespassed en masse and walked to Kinder Scout to secure access rights to open country for all to enjoy forever.

One of the most challenging yet rewarding walks in the Peaks, starting in Edale, at the start of the  Pennine Way. Follow in their footsteps and enjoy the moorland plateau that others fought so hard for, on this historic walk.

A day of great hiking, taking in the spectacular scenery and history of Edale Valley, on this beautiful and iconic circular walk up Jacob’s ladder and onto Kinder Scout as well as taking in Nether Tor and The Nab.

On a clear day, the list of landmarks visible are endless… Mam Tor, Winter Hill, the three Yorkshire peaks, The Roaches, Beeston Castle, Snowdon and Tryfan … to name but a just few!
