Come and join us for our Peak District Weekend of relaxed walking in a small sociable group, sharing the adventure, making new friends and enjoying the authentic hostel experience.

Situated in the heart of Peak District National Park, we are treated to two fabulous walks over the course of the weekend.

The Peak District National Park covers 555 square miles and is famous for it’s diverse heritage, from it’s spectacular landscape and scenery including Mam Tor, Stanage Edge and Kinder Scout, to it’s historic and picturesque villages including Castleton and Hathersage.

Steeped in history, from the 11th century castle of Peveril, that overlooks Castleton, the late 14th century parish church of St Michael and the grave of Robin Hood’s ‘Little John’ in Hathersage, to the mills of the industrial revolution.  Not to mention it’s many show caves and the unique semi-precious Blue John stone, found nowhere else in the world than under the hillside of Treak Cliff.

We arrive on Friday evening to be greeted by our host, settle in and enjoy a lovely freshly prepared meal whilst getting to know each other. A little music, fun and games … but don’t get carried away, we’re up early and out for a day of great hiking, taking in the spectacular scenery and history of Edale Valley, as we embark on this beautiful and iconic circular walk up Jacob’s ladder and onto Kinder Scout as well as taking in Nether Tor and The Nab.

After our first day of hiking we are treated to another exceptional home cooked meal whilst the socialising is in full swing!

After breakfast, Sunday sees us taking on another fantastic, but shorter local walk.

After another epic day of hiking we conclude with a sunday roast at the exceptional Scotman’s Pack Inn, where we reflect on our amazing weekend adventure and hopefully we have made a few new friends and memories that will last long in the memory.

Come, boot up and  join us on another epic adventure!
